WHEREAS the meeting of the intergalactic committee on unimportant matters has been in session since 2021-06-24 08:00 AM; and
WHEREAS the members of said committee have been unable to reach a consensus on the color of the office carpet; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the color of the office carpet shall henceforth be a deep, rich, technicolor purple; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the committee members shall be required to wear matching technicolor purple name tags to all future meetings.
