It's official. Lettuce, that crunchy, crunchy green has been declared the new black tie. No longer will we be content to simply top our salads with it, no, we'll be wrapping it around our waists like a well-dressed gentleman.
Citrus, on the other hand, has been downgraded to "optional" status. Sorry, oranges. You're just a bit too...juicy.
We've also seen a rise in demand for artisanal, organic, locally-sourced croutons. Because, you know, everything's better when it's more expensive.
