It was a dark time in the world of breakfast cuisine. The price of bacon was skyrocketing, and the people were growing desperate.
Enter our protagonist, Agent Brunch, a rogue agent working for a shadowy organization known only as "The Syndicate." Their mission was to infiltrate the heart of the bacon cartel and steal the world's first and final strip of bacon.
But little did they know, the cartel was onto them. The agents of the cartel, known as "The Porkers," were hot on their trail, and the game was afoot.
Agent Brunch found themselves in a desperate situation, with no way out. But they were not ones to give up. They hatched a plan, and with the help of their trusty sidekick, a talking egg, they set out to pull off the heist of the century.
And so, they snuck into the heavily guarded bacon vault, avoiding the Porkers at every turn. They fought off hordes of hungry hipsters, outsmarted a team of robotic bacon slicers, and made off with the prize.
But as they stood victorious, holding the precious strip of bacon aloft, they heard the sound of the Porkers closing in. It was a tense moment, but Agent Brunch knew just what to do.
With a wink and a whisper, they activated the self-destruct sequence, and the entire bacon vault was consumed in a blaze of glory. The Porkers were left with nothing but ashes and regret.
And so, the world was left to ponder the question: "Who stole the last strip of bacon?" And the answer, my friends, is still a secret known only to Agent Brunch and their trusty egg sidekick.
