The Art of Socratic Questioning
In the ancient tradition of Meetings of Wisdom, Socratic Questioning is an art form that requires great skill and patience.
- Start with a simple question: "What is the nature of reality?"
- Listen carefully to the answer, and then ask another question: "But what about the nature of reality within the context of our current meeting?"
- Continue this process until the other person is left confused and wondering why they ever thought they had an answer in the first place.
Remember, the goal of Socratic Questioning is not to arrive at a specific destination, but to revel in the journey of confusion and bewilderment.
Practice Socratic Questioning regularly, and you too can become a master of the art.
