Today was a day of unmitigated disaster. Our soup pot, the lifeblood of our office kitchen, has been reduced to a mere shadow of its former self. The once-clear broth now simmers with the consistency of chunky paste. The carrots are overcooked, the noodles are soggy, and the onions have been reduced to a sad, translucent mush.
