A meeting, in the classical sense, is:
A gathering of sentient beings, usually with a clear agenda, to discuss, decide, and occasionally, decide not to decide.
Meetings can be in-person, over video conferencing, or via carrier pigeon (ask your local pigeon whisperer for details).
The primary objective of a meeting is to achieve synergy, or as some call it, "a sense of vague understanding and mild consensus."
Meetings can be productive, or they can be the root of all evil (or both, depending on the coffee machine).
