Exceptions to the Attendance Policy for Employees with Tantrums

As we all know, tantrums are a natural part of the workplace. But sometimes, they can be a real pain in the neck. Here are some exceptions to our attendance policy for employees who are having a bad day... or week... or month.

Exception 1: The "I just spilled coffee on my shirt" Exception

This is a real classic. If you've just spilled coffee on your shirt and are feeling frazzled, we understand. Just take a few deep breaths, grab a new shirt, and get back to work.

Exception 2: The "I forgot my lunch" Exception

We've all been there. Just take an extra break, grab a snack from the break room, and try not to cry in the supply closet.

Exception 3: The "I just saw a cat outside" Exception

Okay, we're not really sure this one is a real thing, but we're willing to roll with it. Just take a few minutes to gaze out the window, and try not to get too distracted by the squirrels.

Just Because Exception

Don't forget, these exceptions are only for serious cases of tantrum-ness. If you're having a non-serious case of the Mondays, you're on your own.
