What are exceptions, you ask?
Exceptions are those rare, special circumstances in which your absence is not only tolerated but actually expected.
Below, you'll find our official list of approved exceptions. If your reason for absence is not listed, don't worry! You're probably just making it up, and we'll not be fooled.
Approved Exceptions:
- Alien Invasion - If the planet is actually under attack, and you're stuck in a bunker, we'll excuse your absence.
- Time Traveler's Conundrum - If you've gone back in time and accidentally forgot to attend a meeting because of a butterfly effect, we'll give you a pass.
- Quantum Flux - If your particle accelerator experiment has gone haywire, and you're stuck in a vortex, we'll consider it a valid reason.
Unapproved Exceptions:
We can't stress this enough: Not wanting to come to work is not an exception.
But, if you're feeling particularly creative, you can try to spin a tale. Just remember, we'll be watching, and our lawyers are on speed dial.
Submit your own exception for approval (or denial) and maybe, just maybe, we'll add it to the list.
