Not to be confused with Pierre the Baker, this Pierre was a 17th- century French mathematician known for his work on probability theory.

He is often credited with the "Fermat's Little Theorem" which states that every even perfect number can be expressed as the sum of two primes.

Name: Jacques Bernoulli

Jacques is a Swiss mathematician best known for his work on probability theory, specifically on the Bernoulli numbers.

He's also famous for his "law" which relates the probability of consecutive events.

He and his brother Daniel were quite the duo in the world of mathematics.
