Meet the Attendees - Mathematicians
Leonhard "Lenny" Euler 2.0 - The Original Swiss Watchmaker
Meet Leonhard "Lenny" Euler, the man behind the mathematical formula that would make you question everything you thought you knew about calculus. Born in 1707, this Swiss genius was a master of the infinite and the infinitesimal. His work on calculus is still used today, and we're not talking about just the calculus of variations, either.
Lenny's work was a bit...unorthodox. He used to solve math problems by walking 14 miles through the forest while muttering to himself. His colleagues thought this was weird, but hey, it worked for him.
Next up: Paul Bernou - The French Guy Who Made Everyone Hate Math Back to the physicists, I guess About this meeting
