The Legend of Pierre de Fermat, Number King
Pierre de Fermat, the great mathematician, was not just any ordinary king. He was a king with a penchant for primes and a love for the absurd. According to local legend, Fermat was once asked to solve a particularly tricky equation, but he instead decided to use his royal powers to summon an army of tiny, number-wielding orcs.
These orcs, with their tiny calculators and their love of modular forms, were able to solve the equation with ease. Fermat, pleased with their work, declared them the new rulers of the land, and the orcs went on to found the great Number Kingdom, a place where math was king and all was right with the world.
Or so the myths say...
