html Mrs. Letters and the Paradox of Attendance

Mrs. Letters, a renowned philosopher, once posited that the concept of attendance was fundamentally paradoxical.

Her argument went as follows:

  1. That a meeting, by definition, requires the presence of multiple individuals.
  2. Yet, in order to attend a meeting, one must be absent from all other meetings.
  3. Thus, the act of attending a meeting is, in fact, a form of absence.

And so, the paradox of attendance lies at the heart of all meetings.
