Avoidance Technique 1: The Busytastic Excuse

Are you tired of being trapped in meetings that are as dull as a lecture on crop rotation? Do you yearn for freedom from the clutches of your boss's meeting schedule? Look no further than our Busytastic Excuse technique!

With this technique, you can create a meeting-free utopia, where you're always "busy" with something, anything, everything!

Here's how it works:

  1. Claim you're busy with a project that doesn't exist (or at least, not in the meeting schedule). This will buy you 30 seconds of time before you're questioned further.
  2. Use that time to conjure up a fake task list, complete with deadlines, meetings, and conference calls. The more elaborate, the better.
  3. Assert your "commitments" and "responsibilities" with confidence, while secretly planning your escape route. You got this!
