Current Status:

• Intern is contemplating the meaning of life while staring at the stapler
• Janitor has declared the stapler "lost forever"
• Stapler enthusiast is convinced it's hiding in the break room, awaiting rescue

Next Steps:

• Intern to attempt communication with the stapler via interpretive dance
• Janitor to conduct a thorough search of the break room
• Stapler enthusiast to construct a Rube Goldberg machine to retrieve the stapler
