Lesson 3: When the Butterfly Effect Meets the Butterfly Knife

Today we're going to talk about the butterfly effect, or as we like to call it, the butterfly knife. It's the idea that a small action can have huge, unpredictable consequences. Like the time our colleague, Bob, ate a questionable tuna sandwich from the break room fridge and spent the rest of the afternoon in the bathroom.

But seriously, the butterfly knife is a metaphor for how easily things can go off the rails. Like the time our CEO decided to implement a new "synergy" initiative and we all had to wear matching plaid shirts to work on Fridays. Or the time the copier jammed and we had to spend an hour trying to dislodge a stuck paper jam.

So, let's try an experiment. What if we all simultaneously jump off the 23rd floor of the office building at the same time? Will we create a butterfly effect of epic proportions?
