Next Week's Deadlines: Because Time is of the Essence (Apparently)
Here are the most important, not-at-all-optional deadlines to keep you up at night:
- Monday:
- Submit TPS Reports to management by 9:00 AM sharp
- Meet with marketing to discuss their "great" new ideas
- Finish that one report that's been looming over you like a specter
- Tuesday:
- Code that "simple" feature that's been bugging you for weeks
- Attend yet another "synergy meeting" that promises to "change the game"
- Write a memo to the intern to "remind" them what they're doing wrong
- Wednesday:
- Present your latest, completely-not-terrible idea to the team
- Meet with HR to discuss why the coffee machine is still broken
- Finish writing that email to your boss that you've been putting off
- Thursday:
- Fix that one bug that's been driving you crazy (again)
- Attend a meeting that will "definitely" change your life
- Write a strongly-worded letter to the CEO (just for fun)
- Friday:
- Finish that project that's been hanging over your head like a guillotine
- Meet with the new guy to "get to know him"
- Plan your weekend, because you "deserve" it
Don't forget to breathe, or your brain will turn into mush!
