Decision 3456-1: A Most Ill-Advised Choice
It has come to my attention that the team has decided to have a 4-day weekend in July. A most ill-advised choice, if I do say so myself. Why, you ask?
Well, it seems that someone thought it'd be a good idea to schedule the team's "optional" team-building activities for said weekend. Newsflash: it's not optional if you're the one footing the bill.
Why it's a bad idea
- It's not like we're all going on a free vacation, people.
- Our team's productivity will plummet, and we'll all come back to work feeling like zombies.
- We'll all have to wear those awful "Team-Building Survival" t-shirts that make us look like we're in a bad '90s boyband.
What we should do instead
ประก
- Have a meeting about having a meeting about team-building.
- Make everyone watch a 3-hour PowerPoint presentation on the importance of not having a 4-day weekend in July.
- Have a 2-day weekend, but only if we can have an extra-long lunch break on Friday, and an extra-long dinner break on Monday.
So, let's get this straight. We're going to have a 4-day weekend in July. And we're all going to have to wear those stupid t-shirts. Joy.
