Steve had an idea, and it was TERRIBLE. He wanted to add a new feature to the company's software that would allow employees to have their lunches cooked by an AI-powered toaster. Yes, you read that right. An AI toaster. Because, as Steve explained, "who needs human chefs, really?"
After some... discussion, it was decided that Steve's idea was not, in fact, the best use of the company's resources. But, being the stubborn one, Steve insisted on pitching it one more time.
As the meeting devolved into chaos, with Steve's coworkers politely but firmly telling him to "just go for it", he became convinced that they just weren't seeing the potential. "I'll have you know," he declared, "that I have a team of 20 engineers on standby, ready to build the toaster of the future!"
And so, the team was forced to create a new section in the employee handbook, just for Steve's bad ideas. Learn more about the AI Toaster Incident, or see other ideas that didn't quite fly.
