The council convened at 3:00 PM, precisely. The Great Cheese Debate commenced with the introduction by Chairbeing Zorvath, who noted that the universe was on the brink of collapse due to an impending shortage of interstellar gouda.
The debate raged for 2 hours and 14 minutes, with arguments presented by representatives of the Andromedian Gouda Cartel, the Rodentian Free Cheese Market, and the mysterious, reclusive, and highly feared Cheesemonger's Guild. The outcome was inconclusive, but a consensus was reached on the importance of gouda.
Due to the overwhelming evidence presented, the Council voted to allocate 300 billion space credits to establish a gouda research facility on the planet Zorgon-6.
Action Item 1: The Council tasked the Galactic Union of Cheese Enthusiasts with establishing a gouda reserve, to be stored in a secure, undisclosed location.
