Meeting #7 was, in fact, extra-long. We're talking 8 hours of discussion, 4 hours of break time, and 2 hours of actual work. The meeting began at 9am, but due to an unexpected fire alarm, we lost 1 hour to an impromptu evacuation drill.
Agenda item 1: The state of the company's coffee machine. After a heated discussion, we decided that it was, in fact, not broken, but just on vacation. We all agreed to give it 2 more days before attempting to use it again.
Agenda item 2: The company's new "Casual Friday" policy. We debated the merits of wearing jeans on Fridays for 3 hours, and in the end, we decided to make it a "Casual Every Day" policy, because, why not?
Other notable events: Our CEO's 3-hour monologue on the meaning of life, the universe, and everything. Our intern's 5-minute presentation on their cat's medical bills. And, of course, the 2-hour argument over whose turn it was to refill the water cooler.
Next Meeting: Scheduled for never. We're all just going home and pretending this never happened.
