The Adjournment Protocol

Article 1, Section 3, Subsection 2, Paragraph 1:

When a meeting has reached a critical point of adjournment, it is the duty of all attendees to rise from their seats and depart with the utmost haste.

However, in the event of a particularly contentious meeting, it is permissible to linger for a further 5 minutes to allow for a final, dramatic flourish of debate.
