WHEREAS, the employees have been consistently late to meetings, much like the birds who refuse to get off the nest; BE IT RESOLVED, that a new policy shall be implemented, requiring all employees to bring their bird-watching gear to work.
This resolution shall be known as the "Late Bird Special Resolution" (hereinafter referred to as "LBSR").
Section 1: Bird-watching Gear Policy
The company shall provide a bird-watching gear closet in the break room, stocked with binoculars, field prophets, and avian identification guides.
The employees shall be required to use the bird-watching gear during all meetings, except for those with clients or on conference calls, which shall be exempt.
Section 2: Consequences of Non-Compliance
Any employee who fails to bring their bird-watching gear to a meeting shall be subject to disciplinary action, including but not limited to:
1. Verbal warning
2. Written warning
3. One week's worth of bird-watching gear rental fees
Section 3: Effective Date
This resolution shall take effect immediately and shall remain in effect until the employees have all mastered the art of bird-watching and are no longer late to meetings.
