Meetings: The Art of Not Being There

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is a meeting?

A: It's a gathering of humans, usually to discuss things that could be discussed over email, but no one bothered to do that.

Q: Why do I need to be there?

A: Because someone, somewhere, needs to be seen to be doing something.

Q: Can I just send a meeting invite and call it a 'brainstorming session'?

A: Only if you're feeling particularly creative and want to see if you can get away with it. (Spoiler: You probably can't.)
