Meeting Notes: What is the Point of the Snacks?
Today, we're here to discuss the existential crisis of snacks in the workplace.
According to Jane, our resident snack expert, the point of the snacks is to:
- Boost productivity: Snacks are a proven productivity booster. Who needs a 401k when you have a 401-pretzel?
- Enhance creativity: A break from the norm can spark new ideas. Just ask our intern, Bob, who once came up with a solution to world hunger by eating an entire pizza by himself.
- Encourage socialization: Snack breaks are a great way to get to know your coworkers on a deeper level. Just ask John, who's been eating Cheetos with the same 5 people for 3 years.
- Provide a morale boost: Who needs a raise when you can have a free bag of chips?
We're still on the fence, but it seems the point of the snacks is to:
- Get us off our diet.
- Increase our carbon footprint.
- Make the office smell like a combination of desperation and regret.
