It was supposed to be the most boring meeting of our lives: a 3-hour team building exercise in a windowless conference room with 12 people and a stale coffee machine. But little did we know, our meeting planner, Bob, had other plans.
First, we were forced to play a round of "Trust Falls" - the team building exercise that involves blindly trusting each other while standing on a wobbly table, trying to reach a ball of cheese on a string. It was a real bonding experience, let me tell you.
Next up was "The Human Knot", where we all had to tie ourselves together with yarn and try to untangle ourselves. It was a real test of trust, communication, and who had the strongest stomach to endure being stuck to their coworkers.
But the real pièce de résistance was "The Escape Room Challenge" where we had to work together as a team to escape a fake "cave" made of cardboard boxes. We didn't make it out, but we had a good laugh.
While we were trying to escape, Bob snuck into the back room and set up a "surprise" pizza party for us. It was a real morale-booster, and we all left the meeting with a renewed sense of teamwork and a full stomach.
We may not have solved the escape room, but we solved our communication problems and our hunger. That's what counts, right?
