COOKING COOKIES 101
Today we're making the most basic cookie in all the land: the cookie.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of flour (not the kind that's been sitting in the pantry for a year)
- 1/2 cup of butter (churned from the milk of happy cows)
- 1 egg (from a chicken that's not judging you for eating cookies)
- Sugar (just a pinch, don't overdo it)
Instructions:
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Don't burn it. That would be a disaster.
- Add the flour and mix until it's just a big ball of dough. Not too big, not too small.
- Fork in the road: add the sugar, or just eat it straight from the bag. Your call.
- Place the dough on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
