What did we accomplish?

We managed to not get too lost in the woods, despite the map being a crude doodle on a napkin.

We found 3/4 of the way to the promised land, before deciding to take a 2-hour detour for snacks.

Some of us even made small talk with the squirrels, who were surprisingly interested in the finer points of existential dread.

What did we learn?

We learned that the phrase "we're almost there!" is a lie.

That the concept of 'almost' is relative, and can be stretched to last an entire day.

We discovered that the only thing more abundant than snacks in the wilderness is despair.

What did we forget?

We left our sense of adventure back in the office, along with our sense of direction.

Forgot to pack the map, the compass, and the one thing that might actually have been useful.

We even forgot to bring snacks for the squirrels, who are now judging us.

What's next?

We'll try to make it back to the office without getting lost, but no promises.

We'll probably just end up in the same spot, only this time with a better story.

Maybe we'll even bring snacks for the squirrels.
