Pointless Agendas Committee - Meeting Minutes

Meeting Date: February 1, 2024

Present were:

• John Doe (Vice-Chairperson of Unnecessary Affairs)
• Jane Smith (Deputy Director of Redundancy)
• Jim Brown (Head of Circular Thinking)
• Mary Johnson (Assistant to the Assistant of the Assistant)

Meeting Purpose:

To discuss the intricacies of the committee's bylaws, specifically section 3, subsection B, which states that the committee shall meet for exactly 37 meetings per annum, and to decide which 3 of those 37 meetings will actually be productive.

Agenda Items:

• Pointless Agenda Item 1: The committee shall debate the merits of using Comic Sans as a font in official documents.
• Pointless Agenda Item 2: We shall discuss the best ways to reorganize the committee's meeting rooms to create more inefficient pathways.
• Pointless Agenda Item 3: A discussion on whether or not the committee's stapler is properly aligned with the fluorescent lighting fixtures.

• The committee shall reconvene in exactly 37 days to discuss further the points brought up in today's meeting.
• The Vice-Chairperson of Unnecessary Affairs shall draft a memo on the proper use of Comic Sans in official documents.
• The Deputy Director of Redundancy shall research alternative stapler placement options.
