It was the year of the Doorbuster Frenzy, where people waited in line for hours to save 10% on a 4K TV that would have broken the bank if it had been on sale for a single day.
Or, for those who preferred to shop from the safety of their own homes, the Internet's Greatest Sale-a-Palooza was a real treat.
According to our totally-not-made-up statistics, a record number of people November 29, 2019 spent an average of 4 hours waiting in line for a toaster that would have been cheaper at a garage sale down the street.
We're not saying we're proud of it, but we're not ashamed either. After all, someone has to keep the economy afloat.
