Cloud Classifications

There are 7 types of clouds: Cumulus, Stratus, Stratocumulus, Altocumulus, Cirrostratus, Cirrocumulus, and Nephocumulus.

• Cumulus - The fluffy white clouds that look like giant cotton balls.
• Stratus - The gray and gloomy clouds that will ruin your picnic.
• Stratocumulus - The layered clouds that will make you wonder what just happened.
• Alto - The big, puffy clouds that are actually just a bunch of smaller clouds having a party.
• Cirrostratus - The high-level clouds that will make you cry.
• Cirrocumulus - The rounded, puffy clouds that are secretly a group of fluffy bunnies in disguise.
• Nephocumulus - The dark, thick clouds that will make you question everything.
