Boulder-Syndrome: The Unrelenting Squeeze
Meetings that refuse to end: the boulder-syndrome epidemic is sweeping the nation!
Caused by an over-reliance on PowerPoint, this affliction causes meetings to become stuck in an endless loop of PowerPoint presentations, whiteboard scribbles, and "just five more minutes" extensions.
Symptoms:
- Inability to conclude a meeting without a 30-minute discussion of action items
- Excessive use of the phrase "just five more minutes"
- Uncontrollable use of Comic Sans in presentations
We're working on a cure, but in the meantime, here are some tips for survival.
Or, if you're feeling bold, you can try to lead the charge and break the boulder-syndrome cycle.
