Present: Bob, Carol, Ted, Alice, Dave, Larry, and 3 others who didn't really want to be here.
Chairman Bob called the meeting to order at 9:02 AM, exactly 2 minutes early, because that's what he does.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 AM, because the free donuts in the break room were running low.
Ted argued that minutes are unnecessary, and that we should just make it up as we go along. Alice countered that minutes are the backbone of our organization, and that without them, we'd never remember anything. The debate raged on for 5 minutes until Chairman Bob called a 2-minute recess to grab some more coffee.
When the meeting resumed, the committee voted 6-1 in favor of minutes, with Ted dissenting. Bob pointed out that minutes are actually just a bunch of redundant words written down on a piece of paper and that we could've just texted each other, but that's beside the point.
After 1 hour and 3 minutes, the meeting was adjourned due to lack of progress and an abundance of apathy.
