Meetings: the ultimate cause of burnout. Or are they?

Study Methods

We surveyed 1000 participants and asked them to attend 5 meetings per week for 2 weeks. Our results are as follows:

Meeting Frequency Participant Response Rate
5 meetings/week 75% reported burnout
3-4 meetings/week 50% reported burnout
1-2 meetings/week 25% reported burnout

Our findings suggest that meetings are directly correlated with burnout.

We also observed the following side effects in participants:

Conclusion: Meetings are a leading cause of burnout. We recommend reducing meeting frequency to 0 meetings/week.
