Synergy is a term often bandied about in the context of meetings, but what does it truly mean?
At its core, synergy is the act of making a meeting more redundant. It's the art of saying something that has already been said, in a slightly different way, to make it sound new and exciting.
Here are some examples of synergy in action:
- Reiterating the same point three times in a row.
- Using buzzwords like "synergy" and "disrupt" in the same sentence.
- Making a presentation about a presentation.
- Creating a 20-slide deck for a 10-minute meeting.
