Decision 15: More Words Were Spoken

Subcommittee 3: The Verdict

We, the undersigned, hereby declare that more words were spoken during the meeting than anyone could have reasonably expected. This is not to say that the meeting was particularly productive, nor that any meaningful decisions were made. In fact, it's possible that the only thing accomplished was the establishment of a new record for most words spoken by one person in a single meeting.

Subcommittee 3, being comprised of experts in the field of talking, has reviewed the evidence and is confident that the following transcript is a accurate representation of the events that transpired:

    "I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean..." - Bob, Chairperson
"Uh, I was just trying to say that..." - Jane, Vice-Chairperson
    "I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean..." - Bob, Chairperson

It is hereby decreed that, in the future, all meetings shall be equipped with a "Word-O-Meter" to track the number of words spoken. Any meeting where more than 50 words are spoken without a break shall be declared a "Word-Fest" and shall be subject to additional scrutiny.
