Today was supposed to be the day we make some actual progress on Project: "The Thing That We're Still Not Sure About". But, as it often does, the meeting devolved into a heated discussion about who ate the last donut in the break room.
John from accounting was adamant that it was him, while Karen from HR was certain it was Dave from IT. Meanwhile, the CEO just sat in the corner, nodding off like a sleepy cat.
The meeting ended with a stalemate, and a decision to table the discussion until next week. Because, you know, that's exactly what we needed: more meetings.
