As per our company's policy of maximum productivity minimization, we have adopted a comprehensive adjournment procedure. This document outlines the steps to be followed when a meeting is adjourned, and we all get to go home early.

Step 1: Someone will shout "We're adjourned!" and everyone will pretend they didn't hear it.

Step 2: The meeting leader will attempt to regain order by banging a pen on the table, but it will only work on Wednesdays.

Step 3: Everyone will slowly get up, pack their things, and leave in silence, while the meeting leader tries to explain that they are not actually leaving, but just taking a "short break."

Step 4: The meeting leader will call a final, desperate meeting of the adjourned meeting, just to make sure everyone is really going home, and not just lingering in the conference room, eating free donuts.
