Lost in Translation: Prophet Sourcing 101
Where do prophets come from? Well, let's be real, we're still working on that.
Step 1: Randomly Point to Something
- Choose a random thing: a cloud, a rock, a stapler
- Stare at it for 5 minutes
- Write down 5 words that it says to you
Step 2: Add Some Vagueness
Take the 5 words from Step 1 and add some ambiguity to them:
cloud: clouds are like, uh, fluffy things in the sky, or maybe they're like, you know, clouds of consciousness? Or perhaps they're, like, clouds of confusion?
Repeat this process with the rock and stapler, if you dare.
Step 3: Sell it to a Gullible Audience
Find some poor, unsuspecting soul who will believe you're a prophet and sell them on your vision of the future.
Step 4: Profit!
Now, sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Or, you know, the tears of your followers.
