It was a typical Monday morning when Balthazar's cat, a sleek black feline with a penchant for knocking over chairs, woke up its human, Balthazar. The cat's meowing was not its usual gentle purr, but a blood-curdling scream that could shatter glass.
Balthazar, still half asleep, stumbled out of bed and into the kitchen to feed the cat its morning kibble. But as he reached for the can, the cat swiped at his hand, sending Balthazar's coffee mug flying.
The cat's eyes glowed with an otherworldly intensity as it watched Balthazar's despair grow. It was as if the cat was trying to tell him something, but all Balthazar could think about was his ruined morning.
Little did he know, the cat was trying to warn him of impending doom. The meeting he was about to attend, a meeting of the Redundant Meetings Committee, would be the catalyst for the downfall of the company, and Balthazar's cat was trying to save him.
But alas, it was too late. Balthazar was already on his way to the meeting, a meeting that would change the course of his life forever.
And so, the cat sat alone in the kitchen, its eyes fixed on the spot where Balthazar once stood, a silent guardian of a truth that was yet to be revealed.
