Manifesto Section 4: The Art of Doing the Same Meeting Twice
In the immortal words of our beloved Meeting Wizard, "If at first you succeed, it's a fluke. If at second you succeed, it's a meeting."
We, the champions of redundant meetings, have spent years perfecting the art of doing the same meeting twice. It's not just a skill, it's a way of life.
Here are our guiding principles:
- Reiterate the same information, verbatim, with the same tone and the same pace.
- Make sure to cover every base, no matter how often we've covered it before.
- Take notes, and then take more notes, because who needs actual progress?
- Repeat the same questions, and pretend not to remember the answers.
- Conduct the meeting at 6 AM on a Tuesday, because that's when the coffee is still free.
And remember, the true test of a meeting's mettle is its ability to repeat itself.
