After 4 months of meetings, John finally strolled into the conference room, a man of mystery and a hint of desperation. The team was shocked, SHOCKED, that their fearless leader had finally deigned to join the meeting.
"Ah, John," said Sarah, "we've been trying to get you to attend for months. We're so glad you're here."
John looked around the room, his eyes scanning the faces before him. "What's going on?" he asked, his voice like a rusty gate.
Jim, the team's resident tech expert, began to drone on about some new feature that was "going to revolutionize the way we do things." John's eyes glazed over, and he started to nod off.
But then, something strange happened. The coffee machine in the corner of the room began to beep, loudly and insistently. The team looked at each other, confused, as John's eyes snapped back into focus.
"Is that... a meeting invite?" he asked, his voice full of hope.
