- Because someone forgot to bring the donuts.
- Because we still haven't reached a consensus on the color scheme.
- Because the copier jammed and we need to wait for it to fix.
- Because someone's phone autocorrected their name on the attendee list.
- Because we're waiting for the caterer to arrive with the free lunch.
And so the cycle continues, like the wheels on a never-ending merry-go-round.
