Sit down at the blank wall and stare. Yes, just sit. Don't think about anything, just sit. If a thought comes up, don't let it go away. Let it sit there in front of you, like a stain on the wall.
Continue staring at the wall for at least 5 minutes, or until you feel your eyes get dry and your brain gets bored.
Don't worry if nothing happens, or if the wall just stares back at you with an unflinching gaze. It's normal.
