Minute 3, Technique 4: The Art of Not Taking Notes

Today, we're tackling the age-old problem of meeting participation. You see, there are those who take copious notes, scribbling away like a latter-day Leonardo da Vinci, while others simply stare off into space, wondering if there's a snack machine nearby.

Our goal is to find a balance between the two, to not be a meeting ninja, slicing and dicing notes with reckless abandon, nor a meeting sloth, lost in a sea of confusion.

Here's the technique: simply stare at the person talking, make the occasional 'uh-huh', and nod your head. It's a delicate balance, one that requires focus, determination, and a healthy dose of skepticism.

Next meeting, we're tackling "The Art of Not Asking Questions". Don't forget to bring your A-game, or rather, your non-game.
