You have entered the temperature terror, where the thermostat is always on the fritz.
Why was the thermostat acting up? Was it the thermostat itself that was malfunctioning, or was it just the user who was having a meltdown?
Either way, the thermostat is still on the fritz, and you can't even get it to turn off.
Maybe it's time to call the thermostat guy?
