WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Great and Powerful Baron Voltaire that socks without toes are a travesty of fashion;
BE IT RESOLVED, that henceforth, all members of the court shall wear socks with toes, lest they be cast into the depths of fashion despair;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Baron Voltaire shall be the sole arbiter of all matters of fashion, and his whims shall be law.
