Decision 3: The Socks Without Toes Debacle
The great and powerful Barón de Voltaire, ruler of the land of Neo-Brutalism, sat upon his throne, surrounded by his most trusted advisors. "We must make a decision," he decreed, "concerning the socks without toes."
After much deliberation, the council of wise men (and one wise woman) decided that:
- Any sock that doth not have toes shall be subject to a special tax.
- Any citizen who doth wear socks without toes shall be subject to public shaming.
- Any merchant who doth sell socks without toes shall be subject to a lifetime ban from the land.
And so, the people of Neo-Brutalism lived in fear of the Socks Without Toes Act of 20XX, for it was a law that was as harsh as it was just.
