Section 7, Article 3: Timekeeping Code Guidelines
Timekeeping Code must be implemented using only the most ancient languages: Fortran and COBOL. No fancy new languages or libraries shall be used.
Code shall be written on only 3.5 inch floppy disks, stored on a shelf in the server room, and retrieved by hand.
Comments shall be written in iambic pentameter.
Code shall be reviewed by a committee of 3 blindfolded programmers who are only given the code through a Braille reader.
The review process shall take exactly 4 hours and 23 minutes.
A decision shall be made by a random flip of a coin.
