Meeting 461 of the AdJournment Committee was called to order at 2:00 PM on a sunny Thursday afternoon. Present were Chairperson, Zorvath, and committee members, Blerg, Xexu, and Thik.
The meeting was called to discuss the pressing issue of excessive journment in the local vicinity. A lengthy discussion ensued, with Zorvath proposing a 3-point plan to combat the scourge of journment.
Xexu countered with a 4-point plan, which included the implementation of a Journment Tax to fund the eradication efforts. Thik, ever the contrarian, suggested we just let the journment have its way.
After much debate, the committee voted 2-1 in favor of the 3-point plan. A subcommittee was formed to draft the necessary legislation, which will be presented at the next meeting.
Adjournment was called at 4:30 PM, with the next meeting set for 2:00 PM the following week. All members were in attendance, except for Thik, who was found hiding behind the copier.
