Adjournment Resolution 789: Because We Really Need More Time

We, the members of the Adjournment Committee, have met in an emergency meeting to discuss the pressing issues of the day. After much deliberation, we have reached a consensus to... adjourn for more coffee.

As you can see from the attached resolution below, this decision was reached after careful consideration of the following:

• The caffeine level in the break room was deemed insufficient
• The meeting room chairs were too comfortable
• The prospect of productivity was too great a burden

Resolution:

WHEREAS we, the members of the Adjournment Committee, have met in an emergency meeting to discuss the pressing issues of the day;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we shall adjourn this meeting for a period of not less than two hours, to be determined by the time it takes to consume an adequate quantity of coffee and/or other caffeinated beverages.
